Anxiety can be debilitating. The newest studies show that in the United States, nearly 1 in 3 individuals will experience an anxiety disorder in their lifetime. Even children and teens are becoming more and more apt to develop severe anxiety, which has led to increased rates of childhood depression, suicide, panic disorders and drug/alcohol abuse.
Today, our guest Dr. Leslie Shew talks about her own journey with anxiety and how she is successfully treating patients with newer and gentler holistic approaches. She explains the connection between emotional and physical ailments and how she helps people find over-all well-being by treating total body wellness. Do you have an unexplained physical ailment that doctors can't seem to diagnose properly? It just might be tied to your emotions more than you realize.
Are you struggling with anxiety or know someone who is? This episode is for YOU.
